Chrissy Burns
Chrissy is excited to return home to YAT having previously directed Disenchanted,
Songs for a New World, Smile, Into the Woods and Snoopy here!
Chrissy Burns is a multi award winning director, producer, and choreographer. This marks her fifth show here at YAT having previously directed: Snoopy, Into The Woods, Smile and Songs For A New World. She has also served as an Associate Director at the Old Globe Theater. Chrissy has worked as an actor in dozens of theatrical productions throughout San Diego and beyond. She has performed for many of San Diego’s Theatres, top corporations, conventions nationwide and MTV Japan. Chrissy is a private Vocal Coach preparing her many students for a successful career in the performing arts. She has a passion for teaching and loves to help her students learn and grow while helping them achieve their full potential. She recently completed the Prestigious Directors Lab West Program. Music Director
Matt Ignacio
Matt is a cantor and director of the Youth Choir at St. John of the Cross Catholic Church, where he recently starred as Joseph in the SJC Drama Ministry's production of Joseph & the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. He is always thrilled to musically direct in YAT productions. He loves being able to work with such talented students. Previous shows include Aladdin, Alice in Wonderland, Bye Bye Birdie The Music Man, Mulan, The Jungle Book, jr. and many more.
Choreographer
Jenn Harris
Jenn Harris is a choreographer, performer and teaching artist. She began her training in San Diego, California and has traveled throughout the US pursuing an education in performing arts. Her stage experience includes dance, theatre, fashion and trade shows. She is an Alum of the intensive scholarship program at Academy of Performing Arts, under the direction of Kevin Patterson. Currently, she has the priviledge of studying rhythm tap and performing with the California Rhythm Project and learning from some great mentors such as Pam Thompson and Nancy Boskin-Mullen. She is an Aubrey Award winning choreographer and has been highly recognized for her choreographic work in the San Diego and Los Angeles area.
In 2008 she opened the doors of Infinity Dance Arts. Jenn has been teaching full time for the past 18 years and takes much pride in sharing her knowledge and love of performing with others. She has attended Dance Masters of America Teacher Training School in Buffalo, NY, where she has received her teaching certification in Tap and Jazz and has a Module One and Module Two certification through Acrobatic Arts, a professional curriculum for Acrobatic Dance.
